Experiencing the process of independent learning will make you more aware of the needs of students who are going through the process themselves. Having been through this process, ask yourself:

How can I help my learners better learn independently?

In particular, you could consider:

• What support would I have liked in the process of independent learning?
• What support can I give my learners in the process of independent learning?
• How did knowing about my learning strengths and weaknesses help me to plan my learning?
• How could it help my learners to plan their learning?

All your reflections can be recorded and saved in the TRANSFER section of the PERSONAL FOLDER, so that you have a record of your development.
